1. Answer the following question in about 600 words :
Describe Vygotsky's socio-cultural perspective in learning and discuss its educational implications.
OR
Discuss the influences of teacher and environment related factors on learner's academic achievement.
2. Answer the following question in about 600 words :
Describe different types of parenting styles and their impact on learning.
OR
"Mathematics is essentially like a language and in some respects more than a language". Evaluate this statement in the context of inherent values attributed to the teaching and learning of mathematics.
3. Answer any four of the following questions in about 150 words each :
(a) Describe four pillars of education as enumerated in the report of UNESCO Commission on Education (1996).
(b) Examine the influence of goals on motivation and learning.
(c) Discuss important skills that can help a teacher in creating positive classroom
climate.
(d) Describe the values that can be fostered through Art Education.
(e) Elucidate learning principles as enunciated by Carl Rogers with their instructional implications.
(f) Differentiate constructivism with behaviourism and cognitivism.
4. Answer the following question in about 600 words :
"Individual's affective learning is influenced by both emotional intelligence and cognitive learning". Justify this statement with suitable illustrations.
