1.Answer the following question in about 600 words.
Discuss the concept of learning pointing out the fundamental differences between different
theories of learning.
OR
Discuss the influence of different types of school environment on achievement of learners.
2.Answer the following question in about 600 words.
Explain how learning is influenced by the factors of readiness, attention, interest and effort.
OR
Explain how the peer group influences learner's attitudes, values and achievement.
3. Answer any four of the following questions in about 150 words each.
(a) Discuss the educational implications of individual and group learning.
(b) With the help of examples explain the importance of instructional objectives in
teaching-learning process.
(c) Explain the concept of guided learning with its organisation in the classroom.
(d) Discuss the influence of culture on learning.
(e) Differentiate between co operative and competitive learning environment.
(f) What is emotional intelligence ? How is it related to affective development of an
individual.
4. Answer the following question in about 600 words.

Discuss the key constructs of behaviouristic and Gestalt psychology of learning. Explain the distinguishing features of behaviouristic theories in comparison to Gestalt theory.
